From Tradition To Transformation: Innovation Is His Co-Pilot
Alex joined Taxi Loyal in 2011 – a small building with just 24 cars on the road back then. The standard portrait of a taxi company! Fast forward a few years, and we'd replaced our outdated office with a state-of-the-art facility boasting a garage and a cutting-edge dispatch centre.
But he wasn't satisfied with stopping there. An idea sparked – what if we shared our efficient call management services with other Quebec companies?
In 2016, Alex presented this concept to taxi companies in the Laurentians region, telling them that we could take care of distributing their calls from the Outaouais. Convincing 36 owners wasn't easy, but he knew the value we could offer. Thankfully, his vision won them over!
That success story became a domino effect. We signed agreements with companies like Taxi Soucy in Buckingham, Aylmer Taxi, Iqaluit, Sherbrooke, Lévis and Rouyn-Noranda, and expanded our reach across Western Canada.
The impact? This project has become the largest taxi dispatch centre in Quebec, creating more jobs in Gatineau and offering 30-50% cost savings for partnering companies. We also teamed up with Fraxion, a Quebec tech company, allowing us to dispatch based on positioning more efficiently and in a completely automated manner.
