Through this partnership, UQO students enjoy a 50% discount on taxi rides, up to $10 per trip, when travelling to or from the Gatineau campuses. All it takes is the Taxi Loyal app. The agreement runs for five years and represents an estimated commitment of $250,000.
💰 More Than Just a Lower Fare
Carried out in collaboration with UQO's student association (AGE-UQO), this partnership is about removing everyday barriers: getting to class on time, heading to work, or getting home safely — without transportation becoming a financial burden.
One example says it all. On a winter evening, a student shared that a ride back to residence after grocery shopping cost him just $6 thanks to the discount — exactly the kind of small thing that improves student life. As Groupe Loyal CEO Alex Rizk puts it, the goal is to make transportation more accessible and more human for the next generation.
