The dispatcher at Taxi Loyal is responsible for handling customer calls, assigning rides to drivers via dispatch software, and maintaining constant communication with drivers. It monitors races in real time, handles emergencies, resolves problems and prepares daily reports. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is comfortable with IT tools, has a strong sense of customer service and is familiar with the geography of the region. The position requires schedule flexibility, with the possibility of working nights, weekends and holidays. Previous experience in dispatch is an asset.

Main responsibilities

1. Call handling : Answer customer calls in a professional and courteous manner, record ride requests and forward them to available drivers.

2. Use of dispatch software : Master and use dispatch software to assign trips to drivers based on their availability and location.

3. Communication with Drivers : Maintain constant communication with drivers to ensure they are informed of trip requests, route changes or other relevant information.

4. Emergency Management : In the event of an incident or emergency, quickly coordinate an appropriate response, whether by dispatching another taxi, contacting emergency services or notifying the customer.

5. Race monitoring : Monitor the progress of races in real time to ensure that everything is going well and intervene in the event of a problem.

6. Problem Resolution : Handle customer and driver complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

7. Reporting : Prepare daily reports on number of trips, incidents, customer feedback, etc.
